About the role
Essential.NG is looking for an energetic Field Sales Representative to promote its business management app to merchants across Lagos. You will be the face of the company, introducing our solution to business owners and helping them adopt the technology.
Key responsibilities
- Visit commercial locations to present Essential's products and services.
- Identify, engage, and onboard potential business customers.
- Demonstrate the app’s features for inventory, sales recording, and performance monitoring.
- Follow up with prospects and newly registered customers to ensure successful adoption.
- Achieve assigned customer acquisition and sales targets.
- Collect feedback, report market needs, and monitor competitor activity.
- Submit regular reports on field activities and successful acquisitions.
Required profile
- Minimum SSCE qualification.
- Up to 24 months of experience in sales, marketing, business development, POS/fintech sales, or field marketing (advantageous).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence to approach and speak with business owners.
- Basic smartphone and technology proficiency.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel within assigned locations.
- Professional, reliable, and presentable demeanor.
