Field Sales Representative

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships within the assigned territory. This full‑time, onsite position requires frequent travel to customer locations and a strong focus on meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers in the assigned area.
• Consistently close sales and convert prospects into paying customers.
• Drive revenue growth through prospecting, negotiation, and sales closing.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Follow up on leads and enquiries to improve conversion rates.
• Visit existing customers regularly to maintain strong business relationships.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms within approved guidelines.
• Collect and provide market and competitor information.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities and performance to management.

Required profile

• Minimum of an SSCE.
• Previous experience in field sales, FMCG, food sales, retail sales or a related role is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in the field and visiting customers.
• Proven ability to close sales and achieve targets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, energetic and results‑oriented.

What we offer

• Salary: NGN100,000 per month plus commission.
• Additional allowance: NGN50,000.
