Field Officer (Entry-Level) – Bauchi State

About the role

New Incentives – All Babies Are Equal (NI‑ABAE) is expanding its cash‑transfer program to increase childhood vaccination rates in Bauchi State, Nigeria. As a Field Officer you will work directly with public clinics to enroll mothers and infants, monitor immunisation services and support the delivery of cash incentives.

Key responsibilities

• Enroll eligible beneficiaries at remote public clinics following strict eligibility criteria.
• Monitor immunisation sessions, verify that vaccines are administered and recorded correctly.
• Interact with clinic staff and caregivers, providing health talks on vaccination benefits and side‑effects.
• Conduct rapid assessments and report enrollment data, cash‑disbursement details and any stock‑out issues.
• Assist with cash‑transfer (CCT) disbursements, ensuring accurate cash management and fraud prevention.
• Document outreach activities, campaigns and other immunisation events.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates residing in one of the listed towns within Bauchi State.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite at clinics and travel to remote locations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with caregivers and health staff.
• Commitment to accuracy, accountability and community health outcomes.
