About the role
We are looking for a motivated Fibre Optic Engineer to join our technical team in Lagos. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining fibre optic infrastructure for our telecom projects. You will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Install, terminate, splice, test, and maintain fibre optic cables.
- Conduct fibre optic testing using OTDR and power meter equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot fibre optic faults.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Ensure installations comply with technical and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other technical team members.
Required profile
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in fibre optic engineering or a related field.
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to work on‑site and travel as required.
