Fashion Designer

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing retail fashion brand, is looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Fashion Designer to shape new collections. You will translate brand identity and market trends into commercially viable designs and work closely with production, marketing and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original fashion concepts that align with the brand’s identity and target audience.
• Create mood boards, sketches and technical drawings for each collection.
• Select fabrics, trims, colours and embellishments.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards and timely execution.
• Refine designs based on feedback, market trends and production constraints.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings and customer preferences.
• Participate in fittings and oversee garment development from prototype to final production.
• Maintain organized records of designs, patterns and samples.
• Support marketing and sales initiatives, including styling for campaigns and lookbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in fashion design, preferably ready‑to‑wear.
• Strong illustration, sketching and CAD abilities.
• Good understanding of garment construction, pattern making and textiles.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of current fashion trends and seasonal palettes.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
