Driver – Delivery and Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a reliable driver to support our publishing operations in Lagos. The role involves delivering books, documents and other items to schools, customers and company branches while ensuring the vehicle remains in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver books, documents, parcels and company items to designated locations safely and on time.
• Maintain the company vehicle – daily checks of fuel, oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights and engine condition.
• Report any faults, damages, accidents or unusual sounds to the supervisor immediately.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage and maintenance activities.
• Load and unload items as needed, ensuring goods are properly arranged and protected.
• Renew or report vehicle documents such as insurance, roadworthiness and licence when due.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and avoid unauthorized personal use of the vehicle.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company movements and business activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum education: High School (S.S.C.E).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar driver role.
• Based around the Oshodi‑Ikeja axis in Lagos.

Required skills

• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance.
