Data & Digital Engineer

About the role

Daystar Power Group is seeking a Data & Digital Engineer to unlock business value through data, AI and hyper‑automation. Based in Lagos, the role will translate strategy into data‑driven actions, mature opportunities and lead the Group DIY programme.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive data models, design output tables for customers and draft data orchestration flows.
• Lead the design and implementation of data models, AI solutions and hyper‑automation initiatives, collaborating with analysts and engineers.
• Assess feasibility of requirements, produce draft data flows and gather effort estimates from technical teams.
• Demonstrate awareness of emerging data platforms and technologies to support business objectives.

Required profile

• Competent and experienced in data engineering and digital transformation.
