Collections Officer

About the role

Renmoney is seeking a Collections Officer to join its finance team. You will engage with customers via phone, email and in‑person interactions to assess their ability to meet payment obligations and help them stay on track with their loan accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers through multiple channels to discuss payment readiness and capability.
• Record daily activity metrics – calls made, contacts reached, promises to pay, and promises kept – using the bank’s collections system.
• Collaborate with customers to design payment plans and settlements that align with their financial situation.
• Address objections and complaints professionally, coordinating with relevant departments for resolution.
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in payment schedules and repayment methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in consumer loan operations, preferably in a call‑center or collections environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
