Class Teacher

About the role

M.D School, a long‑standing institution offering a blended Nigerian‑British curriculum, is seeking enthusiastic Class Teachers for the 2026/2027 academic session. You will join a diverse faculty in a Christian‑based, inclusive environment and help shape the foundational learning of pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote active learning.
• Develop schemes of work and assessments in line with school procedures.
• Instruct and monitor pupils, using relevant technology to differentiate instruction.
• Manage classroom behaviour by setting clear objectives and enforcing school rules.
• Observe, evaluate and provide feedback on pupil performance to encourage progress.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress as required by school policies.
• Prepare the classroom with a variety of educational resources.
• Communicate regularly with pupils, colleagues and parents about progress and needs.
• Participate in department, school, inter‑location and parent meetings.

Required profile

• Education: N.C.E., B.Ed., P.G.D.E. or M.Ed.
• Experience: 1–10 years teaching, preferably in Nursery or Primary settings.
• Good spoken English and ability to work near the Agidingbi or New Oko‑Oba locations in Lagos.

Required skills

• Ability to integrate educational technology tools into teaching and classroom management.
