CAD Engineer/Technician (NYSC Corps Member)

About the role

I&M Limited is looking for a detail‑oriented CAD Engineer/Technician to support its engineering projects. This position is open to current NYSC corps members who will be assigned on‑site and gain practical experience in 2D/3D design.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications and design requirements.
• Assist engineers in developing detailed design layouts and plans.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and related documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Currently serving as an NYSC corps member and available for Primary Place of Assignment.
• Degree or HND in Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate to expert proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Intermediate to expert proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering.
