About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Cable Specialist I to operate surface equipment for maintaining electromechanical, slickline and braided cables at work locations. The role involves hands‑on cable maintenance tasks under direct supervision.

Key responsibilities

Operate surface equipment to maintain electromechanical, slickline and braided cables.
Perform cleaning, postforming, splicing, marking, profile tensioning, twisting and troubleshooting.
Work alongside another employee, providing expert maintenance on multiple tasks.

Required profile

Minimum 2 years experience as a Service Operator II.
High school diploma.
Completion of an entry presentation covering Cables Technical and HSEQ topics.

Required skills

Electromechanical cable handling.
Slickline cable operations.
Braided cable operations.
