Business Development Manager

About the role

Bridgemead Advisory is looking for a Business Development Manager based in Lagos, Marina. The role drives commercial growth by building a pipeline of B2B opportunities, closing deals and expanding existing client accounts through recruitment, executive search, leadership and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies, identify and qualify new clients and lead prospects through proposal, negotiation and deal closure
• Build relationships with senior executives and grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling
• Monitor market trends and competitors, support new service offerings and pricing, and represent the firm at industry events
• Prepare proposals and capability statements, negotiate commercial terms and hand over new engagements to the delivery team
• Maintain an accurate CRM, track pipeline and revenue forecasts, and report on commercial KPIs such as revenue growth, deal conversion and client retention

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Human Resources or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in business development, commercial management, sales, client relationship management, consulting or a related commercial role
• Experience in a consulting or accounting firm; proven success acquiring and managing B2B clients
• Experience selling professional services, HR solutions, executive search or advisory services is an advantage
