Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth for Toyapa Oil & Gas by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer base for fuel, LPG and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share.
• Identify and pursue new customers, markets, and partnership opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Promote the company’s fuel, cooking gas/LPG, accessories and related services.
• Monitor sales performance and launch initiatives to exceed targets.
• Conduct market research on customer needs, competitor activity, pricing and trends.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations for prospects.
• Negotiate commercial agreements in line with company policy.
• Target bulk sales, corporate accounts, dealers and distributors.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, sales activities and opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, finance and management teams for smooth execution.
• Report regularly on business development and sales metrics.

Required profile

• HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Sales or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales or marketing, preferably in oil & gas, energy, FMCG or retail.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Good understanding of customer relationship management and sales strategies.
