About the role
We are looking for a driven, strategic, and results‑oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing consulting and recruitment firm. This fully remote senior position will be the engine of our growth, responsible for identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and creating scalable processes.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, target, and win new clients across industries needing consulting and recruitment services.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow‑up and deal progression.
- Develop proposals, pitch decks, and service packages tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and close commercial contracts, retainers, and service agreements with senior decision‑makers.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve business development processes, workflows, and playbooks.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
- Introduce and manage tools such as CRM, automation platforms, and lead‑generation software to drive efficiency.
- Develop go‑to‑market strategies for new verticals, geographies, or service lines.
- Cultivate a strategic network of partners, referrers, and industry contacts globally.
- Act as primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long‑term retention.
- Produce revenue reports, forecasts, and business development updates for leadership.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial growth, preferably within consulting, staffing, or professional services.
- Demonstrated track record of closing deals and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience building and managing a sales pipeline from prospecting to contract signature.
- Prior experience working remotely or in a distributed team.
