Business Development Executive – Capital Raising

About the role

NCDF Group is seeking a Business Development Executive – Capital Raising to drive its institutional capital formation programme across the NCDF ecosystem. This senior‑level role focuses on investor origination, relationship management and deal development rather than general sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and convert investors, strategic partners, HNWIs, family offices, diaspora investors, institutional investors, development partners and capital market stakeholders.
• Originating and managing investor leads across Nigeria, the UK, diaspora markets and institutional networks.
• Support investor engagement for private placements, investment funds and platform capitalisation opportunities.
• Build and maintain qualified investor pipelines and a disciplined CRM‑style pipeline of prospects.
• Prepare investor briefs, meeting summaries, opportunity trackers and conversion reports.
• Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, presentations and follow‑up activities.
• Communicate NCDF Group’s investment thesis with clarity and credibility.
• Support capital formation campaigns for NCDF Holdings, Konto Financial Group, infrastructure vehicles and diaspora‑focused private investment routes.
• Contribute to investor communications, pitch preparation, market intelligence and capital‑raising strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in capital raising, business development, investor relations, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, securities, financial services, wealth management, development finance or institutional partnerships.
• Demonstrable track record of originating and managing investor relationships.
• Mature, commercially credible and able to work with senior leadership.

Required skills

• CRM (pipeline management) experience.
